Set within the sacred forests and temples of Govardhan Ecovillage, the Satyavani India Retreat is a deeply restorative immersion into Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Vedic wisdom, sound healing, meditation, and sustainable wellbeing.
For 10 days, you will experience a slower, more intentional rhythm of living — and an opportunity to reconnect with yourself more deeply: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Every aspect of this retreat is intentionally designed to support nervous system recovery, emotional regulation, physical restoration, deeper self-awareness, and reconnection with meaning and presence.
Govardhan Ecovillage is an internationally awarded sanctuary built around sustainability, conscious living, spirituality, ecology, and simplicity. Surrounded by forests, mountains, and sacred spaces, the environment itself becomes part of the healing process.
For many people, simply slowing down in this place begins shifting something profound internally — long before any practice begins.

Each morning begins with therapeutic yoga designed to regulate the nervous system, restore balance, improve mobility, and reconnect you with your body and breath. Practices are restorative, personalised, and nervous-system focused — no advanced experience required.
Most people today live in chronic states of physiological stress without realising how deeply it affects emotion, digestion, sleep, hormones, and clarity. Daily breathwork restores calmness, resilience, and steadiness within the nervous system.
You'll learn practical Ayurvedic principles for long-term wellbeing — nourishment, digestion, sleep, recovery, emotional balance. The focus is sustainable transformation, not rigid systems or temporary detoxes. Includes a one-on-one consultation and an Ayurvedic massage at the GEV clinic.
Sound has long been used in Vedic traditions as a therapeutic tool for emotional regulation and meditation. Through mantra, chanting, sound baths, and vibrational practices, these sessions often become some of the deepest experiences of the retreat.
Each participant receives a personalised one-on-one Jyotiṣa consultation exploring emotional patterns, life direction, strengths, challenges, and practical guidance. The purpose is not prediction — it is deeper self-understanding and clarity.
You will experience sacred temples, evening āratis, devotional music and mantra, forest walks, and traditional Vedic practices — held within a meaningful community. For many, this becomes the most moving aspect of the journey.
You will stay in clean, peaceful accommodation within the Govardhan Ecovillage campus, surrounded by forests and sacred spaces — designed for restorative sleep and quiet integration.
All meals are vegetarian, sattvic, and Ayurvedic — designed to support digestion, mental clarity, emotional steadiness, and energy. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated where possible.
